Julie Stirnaman

Executive Coach

Julie is a fierce advocate for leaders at critical turning points—whether they are launching a bold idea, feeling bored, or navigating a personal or professional failure—viewing each as fertile ground for significant growth.

Her approach is built on a foundation of high-stakes environments. With a background in Communications and live broadcasting followed by a Master’s in Social Work, she spent years in the trenches of mental health, non-profit hospital, and the federal prison system—environments demanding resilience and acute observation. In Chicago, Julie pivoted to tech, applying her clinical background to analytical minds. She found her niche decoding human behavior for technical experts, helping teams navigate psychological barriers to reach peak performance.

Outside of coaching, Julie recharges through gardening, interior design, live comedy, theater and music shows, reading or a late night conversation under a blanket. She has 2 delightful adult daughters making their way in the world, and has been married to Jason, her partner of 30 years. She maintains a sophisticated fascination with pop-up books/paper art and recently took up Jiu-Jitsu. Julie is refining her vision to determine a future residence with sustainable living, radical generosity, and two alpacas.

Julie has been incredibly impactful. She has the unique ability to bring clarity to situations that felt overwhelming, identify limiting beliefs I didn't even realize were holding me back, and help me move forward instead of staying stuck. What stands out most is her intuition - she knows exactly when to challenge me, when to call something out directly, and when to offer support and encouragement. I've grown both personally and professionally through our work together, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for meaningful transformation and momentum.
