Executive Coach
Born and raised in Long Beach, California, I grew up immersed in sports—from basketball and baseball to skateboarding and surfing—which shaped my competitive mindset and love for team environments. I graduated from Los Alamitos High School before earning a basketball scholarship to Stanford University, where I received my degree in Communication in 2010.
My professional basketball journey spans 15 years across the NBA as both a player and an executive. Drafted 39th overall in the 2010 NBA Draft, I played for the New York Knicks and Toronto Raptors, experiences that deeply informed my understanding of player development, team culture, and the human side of high performance. Following my playing career, I transitioned into front-office leadership with the San Antonio Spurs in scouting and later as General Manager of the Austin Spurs. I then joined the Atlanta Hawks as Assistant General Manager and was ultimately promoted to General Manager.
Today, as part of Novus Global, I bring a strategic, sports organizational background and perspective to my executive coaching. Outside of Executive Coaching, I am a husband to my wife, Elaine, and a father of three (Jack, Kai and Elle). Faith, family, and community anchor my leadership, alongside a love for reading, running, hoops, and great coffee.
