Aaron Ott

Executive Coach

Aaron is committed to helping accomplished leaders explore what they’re capable of and expand their leadership beyond what past success has required of them.

For nearly two decades, Aaron led technology across financial services, wealth management, and private family offices. Then he transformed teams in the non-profit performing arts space, designing the systems that brought Steelhouse Omaha, a world-class live music venue, online, and later led a transformational CRM overhaul inside a $170 million construction company. Through those experiences, he saw firsthand that reaching a new level of leadership requires more than expertise; it requires growth.

As a Coach with Novus Global, Aaron partners with directors, VPs, and founders through powerful, inquiry-based conversations that help them identify how they may be getting in their own way and create new practices in service of what’s possible. His work helps leaders move beyond over-functioning, delegate with greater clarity, and develop the trust and steadiness their next level requires. His invitation: What if uncertainty isn’t evidence that you don’t belong, but an opportunity to discover what you’re capable of?

Aaron lives in Omaha with his wife, Sarah. He is also a classically trained pianist, photographer, and his church’s band director and keyboardist.

client testimonials
Skylar H. Entrepreneur, Writer, and Illustrator

Aaron has done a masterful job of helping me uncover the mindsets that have been holding me back. I’ve experienced significant growth in how I communicate, which has strengthened my relationships with clients and, surprisingly, with my own spouse and family. Most importantly, coaching has encouraged me to consider three fundamental questions: Who do I want to be? Where do I want to go? And how am I going to get there? If you're like me, I'd highly recommend coaching. I think you’ll find yourself asking the same question I've been asking throughout this experience: 'How did it take me so long to see that in myself?'

Aaron has a remarkable gift to see exactly who a person is, and to accept and value them for exactly who they are - while also never sacrificing who someone could become for the sake of their present self. It’s impossible to overstate how valuable and transformative that moment of being seen and known can be. Through working with Aaron, I’ve examined and challenged automatic thought patterns, engaged with my teams in an intentional way, and brought that intentionality to not just my leadership, but my life outside of the office as well.
