Karl believes every leader carries untapped potential and he helps them discover it, align it with purpose, and turn it into lasting impact. As an executive coach with Novus Global, he has spent the past 15 years inspiring and guiding clients across athletics, business, academia, and beyond.
Alongside coaching, Karl has held roles in accounting, operations, HR, and development, giving him a broad perspective on organizational dynamics. He holds an MBA and a Master’s in Sports Management from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business, as well as a bachelor’s degree from Calvin University. His research on leadership and feedback has been published in leading journals, including the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, and presented at the Academy of Management, Harvard’s Behavioral Insights Group, and the University of Michigan.
Karl lives in Nashville, TN. Outside of coaching, he enjoys the outdoors, board games with friends, and great food.
