We provide executive coaching and training to high-performing individuals and teams in business, sports, and entertainment. As we continue to explore what we’re capable of (i.e. meta performance), we are searching for a Director of Operations to oversee and optimize our operations, ensuring efficiency across our diverse systems and processes.
The Director of Operations will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, enhancing operational efficiency, and supporting the executive team in strategic initiatives. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills and the ability to manage and streamline multiple systems and workflows, including finance, human resources, payroll, IT, and contracts.
Operational Management:
Oversee the daily operations, ensuring seamless and efficient processes across all departments.
Coordinate and manage workflows between different systems and teams, including coaching, sales, marketing, and administration.
Develop, implement, and monitor operational policies and procedures to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to optimize efficiency.
Ensure continuous improvement in operational processes to support the company’s growth.
Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
Set clear performance goals, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
Recruit, train, and onboard new team members as needed.
Systems Management:
Oversee the management and integration of various business systems, including CRM, project management, and financial software.
Ensure data integrity, security, and efficiency across all systems.
Collaborate with IT and other departments to implement system upgrades and improvements.
Human Resources Management:
Oversee HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, training, and employee relations.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
Payroll Management:
Oversee the payroll process to ensure timely and accurate payment of employees.
Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and reporting requirements.
Address and resolve any payroll issues promptly.
Contracts Management:
Manage all company contracts, including vendor agreements and client contracts.
Ensure all contracts are up-to-date, compliant, and aligned with company policies.
Negotiate terms and conditions with vendors and clients as needed.
Financial Management:
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Monitor and manage expenses to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
Prepare and present operational and financial reports to the executive team.
Strategic Planning and Execution:
Support the executive team in developing and executing strategic plans to drive business growth.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities and trends.
Assist in the development and implementation of business development initiatives.
4-6 years of experience in operations management or a related role, preferably within the professional services industry.
Proven experience in managing operations, HR, payroll, contracts, and teams effectively.
Strong understanding of business systems and process optimization.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to think strategically and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
