WE ARE HIRING

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Senior Accountant (Full-Cycle)

This role is for someone who creates value in where we are and gets excited about what could be.

We’re looking for a Senior Accountant who wants to run a clean close and is energized by owning and improving the entire financial system behind it.

You’ll be responsible for the integrity of our financials end-to-end: from the inputs (AP/AR, payroll) to the outputs (monthly reporting, GAAP compliance). You’ll also help us design a finance function that scales.

Why this is a uniquely compelling role

We’re not a traditional company, and this isn’t a traditional accounting role.

Novus Global is a firm of meta-performing franchise owners that collectively serve executives, teams, athletes, entrepreneurs, and anyone who wants to explore what they’re capable of. Our business is human, fast-moving, and constantly evolving, so our finance function needs to be clear, adaptive, and scalable.

This role sits at the center of that.

  • You’ll have real visibility into the business
You won’t be buried in a back-office function. You’ll see how the company actually operates and help translate that into financial clarity.

  • You’ll build, not just maintain
We’re at a stage where systems, processes, and reporting can all be improved. You’ll have the opportunity to design how finance works.

  • You’ll partner with thoughtful, growth-oriented people
Our culture is centered on development, ownership, and high standards. People here care about getting better and doing meaningful work.

  • You’ll help bring structure to a dynamic environment
If you enjoy taking something that’s working and making it clean, scalable, and reliable, you’ll find this role deeply satisfying.

  • You’ll grow with the company
This role can evolve into broader ownership over time (e.g., leading finance operations or stepping into a Controller path), depending on your interests and performance.

What we care about

We believe high performance matters, but it’s not the end of the story.

We care about building cultures of nobility where prosperity, generosity, creativity, and community are all part of how we operate. We work with leaders who want to succeed, but also want to do so in a way that creates something meaningful for the people around them.

That belief shapes how we show up internally as well. We’re committed to doing excellent work while also building a place where people can grow, contribute, and be part of something that feels worthwhile.

What you’ll own

  • Full-cycle accounting: journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and monthly close

  • Monthly financial reporting and variance analysis

  • Maintaining GAAP-compliant financials

  • Oversight of AP/AR to ensure clean, accurate inputs

  • Cash visibility and basic forecasting support

  • Partner with our external vendors to complete audits and meet necessary compliance requirements

What makes this role different

  • You won’t inherit perfect systems. You’ll build and improve them

  • You’ll have real ownership, not just responsibility

  • You’ll help us move from “it works” to “it works cleanly and scales.”

  • You’ll be a thought partner on how finance should operate as we grow

We’re looking for someone who

  • Takes pride in owning the full picture, not just part of the process

  • Has strong fundamentals in GAAP and month-end close

  • Is comfortable getting into the details and stepping back to improve systems

  • Sees messy processes as an opportunity, not a frustration

  • Can operate independently and bring structure where it doesn’t yet exist

You might not enjoy this role if

  • You aren’t interested in a high-growth, high-feedback culture.

  • You resist change.

  • You prefer highly structured environments with clearly defined processes

  • You want to focus only on one part of accounting (e.g., just reporting or just AP)

  • You’re not interested in improving or redesigning systems

Compensation

  • $95K – $120K base (flexible for exceptional candidates)

  • Bonus eligible

  • Remote (Americas)

Why this role matters

This person will be the backbone of our financial accuracy and a key partner in helping the company grow with clarity and discipline.

What makes people enjoy working here

  • High ownership and trust. People are expected to lead, not wait

  • A culture that values both performance and personal growth

  • Direct exposure to leadership and decision-making

  • The chance to make a visible, lasting impact on how the company operates
